Days one and two (Reiki Master)

• Reiki Master Attunement to deepen awareness of Reiki
• Review of existing Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 training 
• Review of Origin, Meaning, Theory & Practice Symbols 1,2 and 3, Mantra (Jumon) & Kotodama - Reciting & Chanting
• Symbol 4 - DKM - The Great Bright Light
• Review and practice of Hatsurei Hô - Kenyokû Hô + Joshin Kokyû Hô +Seishin Toitsu incorporating all four symbols into meditation
• Further Study of the History of the system of Usui Reiki
• Further meditation techniques (Nentatsu Hô / Seiheki Chiryô Hô (with a practice), Tanden Chiryô Hô (with a practice), Heso Chiryô Hô, Reiki Shower / Cold Shower, Jakikiri Jôka Hô (with a practice on a personal object brought in by student (eg crystal / oracle deck))
• Deeper understanding of the precepts (Gokai including Gokai Sansho - Chanting Practice)
• Healing vs Curing
• Dedication to the path - The Usui System of Reiki Philosophy - The 5 Elements of Reiki - Embracing non-duality
• Gyosei (Waka Poetry) and origin in Reiki - contemplation and use with Gokai – precepts
• Reiki and religious beliefs
• Review of performing Reiki treatments on others (inc review and practice of Western hand positions, Mikao Usui’s original hand positions, Enkaku Chiryô Hô - Distance treatment, Byôsen Reikan Hô - Body Scanning, Reiji Hô - Placing Hands Intuitively)
• Receiving and Performing Reiju (Spiritual Blessing)

Days three and four (Reiki Master Teacher - following successful completion of days one and two)

• Treating with the Whole Being, incorporating Further Reiki Techniques: Gyoshi Hô and Koki Hô(Treating Without the Use of Hands,Eyes & Breath – Theory & Practice) Reiki Mawashi  - Reiki Circle(Practical)
• Shûchû Reiki - Reiki Share
• Regulations - National Occupational Standards - Responsibility of teaching professional practitioners.  Accreditation, Core Curriculum, Requirements for Professional Reiki Training, Ethics & Law, Recommended Resources. Teaching animal Reiki requirements 
• Ajikan  - Pure Land Buddhist Scroll Meditation (Theory & Practical)
• Attunements and Reiju - theory, preparations, performing Western Attunement for Reiki 1, Reiki 2 & Reiki Master, Practice Attunements on each other
• Teaching Reiki - Course Design for Reiki 1 & 2  - Course Design for Professional Practitioners - Responsibilities of being a Reiki Master Teacher
• Reiki Master Teacher Knowhow… - How to guide students in meditation  - answering difficult questions, -  explaining Reiki (both the energy and the method ) - Importance of maintaining high standards in teaching  - Leading a Reiki share - Mentoring and volunteering.

This course is led and taught by Helen Cochrane, Reiki Master Teacher, with the Master attunement being performed in person during the course. 

Prerequisites for this course are successful completion of Reiki 1 and 2 with Alvechurch Reiki, as well as having allowed a minimum of 9 months since Reiki 2. If you have completed Reiki 1 with a different Reiki Master Teacher and wish to take this level with me, please get in touch so that we can discuss the course’s suitability for your requirements.

The course fee of £350 (Reiki Master - two days) or £650 (Reiki Master Teacher - four days) includes refreshments for each day, a comprehensive Reiki Master / Reiki Master Teacher  manual for you to keep, a certificate on completion of the course, as well as ongoing support from Alvechurch Reiki.
