At Alvechurch Reiki, I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to my treatment room, courses or website. In particular, I want you to know that I am not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. I trust that this Privacy Policy provides you with the peace of mind about when and why I collect your personal information, how I use it, the limited conditions under which information may be disclosed to others and how I keep it secure.

Third Parties

As part of the registration process for my newsletter and any other e-marketing you consent to receiving, I collect personal information in the form of email address and name. I use that information to inform you about my services and offers, to update you on Reiki-related information you have shown an interest in, to contact you if I need to obtain or provide additional information, to check my records are correct and to check every now and then that you are satisfied.  I will not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

Client and Student Personal Information

As a holistic therapist, I keep general records and notes of client treatments, as well as personal information such as name, contact details, GP’s name and basic medical information.

It is a requirement that I hold information such as handwritten clinic notes taken regarding treatment for a period of 8 years. All personal information supplied to me is private and confidential; it is not shared with third parties. The only circumstance where this information may be shared is in a medical emergency to medical professionals or if I am required to do so by law. 

All paper information is stored under lock and key and computer files are password protected and encrypted.

As payment for courses and treatments is either made in cash or by bank transfer, I do not store information regarding credit or debit cards. For Stripe payments, visitors are directed to the privacy policy of Stripe here 

You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that I hold about you. Please email your request to alvechurchreiki@gmail.com.
