Incorporating a combination of both Western and Eastern teaching of the method of Reiki, this course provides an immersive and comprehensive 2-day introduction to Usui Shiki Ryôhô/Usui Reiki Ryôhô, taught in a small, supportive group. The aim of the teaching is to equip you with the practical skills to get started with performing Reiki treatments on yourself and friends, family members and pets, with a strong emphasis on the meditative and mindful aspects of the practice.
The course is designed to empower you to incorporate Reiki into your day-to-day life, filling you with the confidence to improve your own well-being.
What will be covered on the course?
This course is verified and accredited by the UK Reiki Federation as part of the Alvechurch Reiki Professional Reiki Practitioner Diploma, as compliant with the Core Curriculum for Reiki and National Occupational Standards. This course is led and taught by Helen Cochrane, Reiki Master Teacher, with all four attunements being performed in person during the course.
No previous knowledge or experience of Reiki is required for this course, but it is encouraged that you talk through with Helen your interest in the course before booking, in order to confirm the course’s suitability for your requirements. All that is asked of you is an open mind and a willingness to participate in a warm, relaxed learning environment.
The course fee of £230 includes refreshments for both days, a comprehensive Reiki 1 manual for you to keep, a certificate on completion of the course, as well as ongoing support from Alvechurch Reiki.
