This 2-day immersive course builds on the skills developed on the Reiki 1 course and through your practice since then, with the aim of intensifying the ability to use Reiki. This is the level at which, after completion, students can  begin to prepare for professional Reiki practice, although many students choose to complete this course purely to deepen personal awareness.

At this level, three of the Reiki symbols are introduced to deepen and focus the use of Reiki both in daily life and during treatments.

This course is taught very much in the same style as the Reiki 1 course; in a small, supportive group, with the continued emphasis on building confidence and on the meditative and mindful aspects of the practice.

• Deeper understanding of the precepts (Gokai including Gokai Sansho - Chanting Practice)
• Origin, Meaning, Theory & Practice Symbol 1, Mantra (Jumon) & Kotodama - Reciting & Chanting
• Origin, Meaning, Theory & Practice Symbol 2, Mantra (Jumon) & Kotodama - Reciting & Chanting
• Origin, Meaning, Theory & Practice Symbol 3, Mantra (Jumon) & Kotodama - Reciting & Chanting
• Using the Symbols in a Self Treatment
• Using the Symbols in Meditation + Further Meditation Techniques
• Using the Symbols during treatment of others & Situations
• Spiritually Guided Reiki (Reiji Ho), Body Scanning (Byosen Reikan Ho), Distance Treatments (Enkaku Chiryo Ho)
• Professional Treatment - Supervised Practical - Ethics and Law
• Professional Reiki Practice:  - introduction to becoming a Regulated Professional Reiki Practitioner - starting out in professional practice -  Regulatory Bodies

This course is verified and accredited by the UK Reiki Federation as part of the Alvechurch Reiki Professional Reiki Practitioner Diploma, as compliant with the Core Curriculum for Reiki and National Occupational Standards. This course is led and taught by Helen Cochrane, Reiki Master Teacher, with the attunement being performed in person during the course. 

Prerequisites for this course are successful completion of Reiki 1 with Alvechurch Reiki, as well as having allowed a minimum of 12 weeks between courses. The course fee of £280 includes refreshments for both days, a comprehensive Reiki 2 manual for you to keep, a certificate on completion of the course, as well as ongoing support from Alvechurch Reiki.
